I recently stayed at this amazing hostel for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. Delmar, the owner, was such a welcoming and friendly host, making sure I had the best time during my stay. The breakfast provided was absolutely incredible, with delicious scrambled eggs, refried beans, avocado, and fried plantain. The bed in my room/cabin was comfortable, and I had one of the best nights of sleep during my entire trip. The hostel only accommodates a maximum of 12 guests, which made it easy to connect with other travelers, and we even went on a cycling adventure together. The location is also excellent, just a short walk from the main park and other attractions. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks, Delmar!
I do recommend this hotel.

He is a tae kwan do teacher with 25 years of experience and was extremely helpful, friendly, and informative. He helped us set up sunrise kayaking and a tour of the lagoon for fair prices. the breakfast he prepared was next level and hands down the best breakfast we've had in a long time. the atmosphere at the hostel was great and the tents were surprisingly comfortable. Each tent also had a fan, which was necessary to stay cool while sleeping. the location was convenient, close to supermarkets and the beach. a steal of a deal and highly recommended!
All was perfect 👌.

Great location near the lagoon and restaurants. There is a cute cafe next door where we enjoyed coffee and smoothies every day. The host was friendly and helpful, offering information about the area and arranging activities for us. We appreciated the free breakfast, which included delicious American pancakes or eggs with onions, tomatoes, avocado, and fried banana. The proximity to supermarkets and the beach was also a plus.
The amenities were not well-maintained, and the toilets being located near the common area where people eat was inconvenient. The security was inadequate, with a broken bicycle lock as the main gate lock.

The value for money at this place was very nice, and the room/cabin I got was perfect for solo travelers. The location was very central, just a short walk from the main park, and the staff treated me like family.
The breakfast selection could use a bit more variety.

The location of the hostel is ideal, being close to the center but still quiet at night. Guests can easily explore the area as bikes are available for rent. The breakfast served at the hostel is substantial and delicious, with various options to choose from, including a vegan version.
Some guests mentioned that the lack of solid walls in the rooms resulted in disturbances from neighboring sounds and bugs entering the room.
